Wine Receptions and Conference Banquet
There will be three evening drinks receptions during the course of the week, kindly sponsored by the ESR group of the RSC (Sunday evening), Jeol (Monday evening) and Bruker (Tuesday evening). The Sunday reception will be held in Heslington Hall, the landmark of the main campus.

Conference Excursion
Following the tradition of our conferences, Tuesday afternoon will be free from lectures (Bruker lecture will be scheduled in the evening). The delegates are invited to take part in a walking tour of York (transport will be arranged into town from campus). The return transportation will not be arranged as delegates are expected to return at different times. The campus is located 30-40 minutes walk from the city centre. Delegates can either take the bus (number 4 or 44 to University stops by the York Dungeons, Rougier Street and the Station in the city centre) or a taxi.

The delegates might also wish to visit York Minster - the greatest gothic cathedral in Northern Europe.
